The Good & the Bad - what did you like best? What least?

My first week was at the B1.2 level and then I moved up to B2.1 in the second week. The teachers were very helpful and informative giving us the chance to both improve our grammar, increase our vocabulary and converse (in German of course) about various topics. I think that the pre-attendance online test placed me at the right level making it a very enjoyable yet challenging two weeks. I was also pleased that the teachers pointed out our weaknesses (for example, my vocabulary was rather weak for B2) so that we could focus on improvement. And of course classmates from all over the world!

I couldn't believe my luck when I found out that my host family only lived a five minute walk away from the school, and they were very accommodating. And a five year old really tests your German skills!!!!!!

The only room for improvement I could suggest is that Students should be informed directly of both their morning and afternoon classroom numbers on the first day of the course when enrolled on the super-intensive option (in addition to the info on the app, or emails which might end up in the Spam file).

Your recommendations for other students

Cram up as much as possible before attending so that you get more out of the classes. Also, the homework given in the morning classes may take a bit of time (especially at B2+ levels as its more nuanced), so if you are considering super intensive and want to do a lot of sightseeing then you will have a full day. The first day of your course starts at 8am, and 9am thereafter, so you need factor that in to your travel times. Although I was lucky and was only 5 minutes away, I could have ended up over half an hour away.
