Who we are
A women-led family business
GLS was founded in 1983 by the Berlin entrepreneur Barbara Jaeschke, who still runs the company today, now together with her daughters Dr. Verena Jaeschke (left) and Dr. Reemda Jaeschke (right).
GLS history
What began as a one woman show in 1983, is now a company with 150 employees and a 16,000 m² campus with a school & 2 hotels in the very center of Berlin.

Students can have their German courses with GLS recognized for university degrees, i.e. earn academic credits at GLS..
More than 5000 students

GLS - אחד מעשרת בתי הספר המובילים בעולם
בשנת 2019, Ryugaku Journal שבסיסו בטוקיו מינה את GLS כאחד מ-10 בתי הספר הטובים ביותר לשפות ברחבי העולם. GLS הוא בית הספר לשפה הגרמנית היחיד בטופ 10: עוד על 10 בתי הספר המובילים.
GLS - "בית הספר לשפה הגרמנית של השנה"
בשנת 2021 הוענק GLS כ"בית הספר לשפה הגרמנית של השנה" על ידי אגודת מפעילי הסיורים בשפה הטורקית באיסטנבול (UED).

היא GERMAN LANGUAGE SCHOOL (בי"ס לשפה הגרמנית). GLS מפעיל את קמפוס GLS בברלין עבור תלמידי גרמנית מבוגרים, בנוסף למספר מחנות קיץ לצעירים בערים ברלין ומינכן או בקרבתן.
